During my stay, I enjoyed being just a few steps from St Columba's Cathedral and had the chance to stroll to the beautiful McCaig's Tower, where I soaked in some breathtaking views of the harbor. it really made my weekend feel special and full of charm.

While the room boasted beautiful views, it felt a bit dated and cramped for two people, lacking some modern updates that could enhance comfort. The bathroom was on the small side and a touch dim, which might not suit everyone’s preferences. the heating turned off during the day and throughout the night, leaving the room quite chilly upon return, especially during the cold, wet weather. Breakfast timings felt a bit restrictive, and the breakfast options could benefit from more variety to keep things fresh.

stayed in kilchrenan house for one night, and we had the best time! frances upgraded us to the best room, and the view from the bay window was stunning. we relaxed with some red wine while watching the boats go by. the location is great, just a short walk to the centre!

I stayed in a Single Room with Bathroom for 2 nights. It was spacious and bright, with a nice view of the garden and woods. The bed was comfy and the room was super clean. The only thing I would say is that it could get a bit noisy at times, but overall, I had a great stay!

Spacious ground floor room featured a lovely sea view with a modest seating area, giving a cozy vibe. Breakfast offered a solid spread, including haggis in the Full Scottish, and the highlight was porridge topped with whisky and cream.

The small shower lacked decent space, which might not be ideal for everyone. Housekeeping could use a bit more attention. some towels were left hung over the door instead of replaced, and the coffee and biscuits weren’t replenished for the second day. The proximity to the waterfront meant a bit of a walk, around 15 minutes, to reach the main area, which could be a hassle if you're laden down with gear.

This place suits me perfectly! It has excellent wi-fi, a tv, and a lovely electric kettle. I still remember how the staff helped me with local taxi tips on my first stay. Highly recommend for comfort!
